We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who is eager to contribute to the design of complex projects and support them from initial concept and customer requirements through to manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our production team to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- 3D Design & Drafting: Perform end-to-end design of plastic injection molds and specialized tooling using Solid Edge, and produce precise fabrication drawings.
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead the technical side of projects from initial requirements and validation all the way to final manufacturing.
- Production Technical Support: Ensure shop floor feasibility, specify tolerances, design fixtures/jigs, and address any adjustment requests in the plant.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Participate in kick-off meetings, design reviews, and shop floor hand-offs while working closely with both production teams and clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training/experience;
- Experience: Significant experience in the design of injection molds or industrial tooling;
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining processes and mechanical manufacturing;
- Software: Proficiency in Solid Edge (or expertise in another 3D software such as SolidWorks/Inventor with a quick learning curve);
- Personal Profile: Autonomous, resourceful, with strong technical judgment and solid priority management;
- Teamwork: Team player with strong communication skills and an open, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
